Feature - Angels Choir Themed Red Dinner Dance

We were very pleased to be able to provide event photography to the charity Angels Choir for their Red Themed Dinner Dance recently held in the "Old Gym" at Wellington College. The charity is supporting a group of Nigerian children who are described as follows.

"A response to the 'Angels' invariably gives cause for silent reflection, attempts to describe them differ from admiration to simply amazing, outstanding accolades considering these gifted children live desperate tragic lives. Father Anthony Ikhenoba from the Diocese of Kaduna, Nigeria, West Africa founded the choir of which some 200 children belong."

"Father Anthony’s mission is to restore hope in the children’s lives of his community, he soon recognised that they had a talent: their voices. The children sang from their hearts with unbelievable tenacity and passion. They wholeheartedly committed themselves to this new venture resulting in songs worthy of any accolade."

The charity aims to bring 20 of the choir to England in October 2007 to sing alongside children from Wellington College, raising the travel funds through events such as the dinner dance. The red theme highlights the work being carried out worldwide on behalf of the millions of people suffering the tragedy of HIV/AIDS.

We are proud to be a supporter of the charity and look forward to working with them to achieve their aims.
